Buterfly Chair

Known both by its original name, BKF, and as the Butterfly chair, this cult object was designed in 1938 by the architect and urban planner Antonio Bonet together with the architects Juanito Kurchan and Jorge Ferrari-Hardoy. It is a piece that remains in one of the most important contemporary art museums in the world, the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) in New York thanks to Edgar Kaufman, who also acquired a second unit for the ‘Cascade House’ designed by the architect Frank Lloyd.
