Petit Potence Lamp – Maroon

Jean Prouvé designed the first version of the Potence wall lamp in the 1940s for his home in Nancy: a simple bulb at the end of a long pivoting steel arm held in place by a steel cable. This pure and functional design was soon produced in various sizes, with a handle added on the larger models to facilitate the pivoting movement.

The proportions of the Petite Potence are similar to those of the larger Potence, although its compact dimensions are ideal for small interiors. The pivoting arm of this iconic lamp is 103 cm long, powder-coated in colours taken from the original shades used by Prouvé. The cable is covered with high quality fabric and the LED bulb is dimmable. Thanks to its discreet design, Petite Potence is an ideal lighting choice for a wide variety of settings, from the dining room and living room to the office or a café.
